Lead Gas Engineer

Salisbury Plain and surrounding area

Up to £47,000 per annum

Build recruitment are working on behalf of a leading FM group to recruit a Lead Gas Engineer to work across a busy contract within the Salisbury plain area.

This is a 50/50 role, with 50% of your time being spent in the field delivering a gas/ boiler breakdown and servicing, with the other 50% of your time providing technical support to a small team of gas and heating engineers.

Ideal candidates will hold ACS qualifications and be gas safe registered. You will preferably have experience in oil, LPG and air source heating systems, but this is not essential.

Previous experience in a similar role is required.

Qualifications

• You will hold a qualification in the relevant trade to NVQ (or equivalent) level 2 or higher along with holding the following ACS elements, CCN1, HTR1, CEN1, WAT1, MET1, CKR1 and CPA1, fires and unvented
• You will have previous experience of a wide variety of heating related works
• Experience of working in occupied domestic properties
• Experience in providing excellent customer service and developing relationships
