Contracts Manager – Social Housing Planned Works – Building Safety
Type: Full Time / Permanent
Location: Southeast London
Salary: £70k – £75k + Car Allowance
My client, one of the leading companies in main contracting, housing maintenance and regeneration works are seeking a Contracts Manager to join the planned works division of the business due to continuous growth.
The Role:
As Contracts Manager you will ensure programme requirements are met in line with business objectives and client and customer aspirations and expectations. Works being delivered include FRA works, fire rated panels, sprinkler systems and fire remedial projects. You will report directly into the Operations Director and work hand in hand to ensure the smooth delivery of the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large high performing multiple disciplined teams to ensure high standards of safety, excellent service delivery and sound financial outcomes
- Program works
- Ensure all relevant RAMS are in place prior to works for both direct & subcontract works.
- Lead the team and ensure works are completed to a high standard.
- Pre and post inspections of works
- Attending progress meetings
- Responsible for P&L on contracts
- Performance reviews and reports
Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience of delivering multiple contracts across a variety of geographical locations.
- Ability to plan and coordinate effective resource allocation including supply chain, staff, directly employed operatives etc.
- Experience and knowledge of Quality Management systems and processes
- Minimum relevant Level 6 qualification (NVQ) and/or relevant membership of professional body (MCIOB/MICE) and /or construction related degree.
- Appropriate CSCS card, ideally in addition to SMSTS certificate
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office programmes such as Excel, Word, Outlook
- Valid driving licence
