Position: Building Surveyor – Temp

Build is working with a fast-growing Housing Association in Cumbria whose focus is on providing independent living options for tenants in non-traditional properties.

They look for a Building Surveyor to join and cover on a temporary basis, with the potential to go permanent.

The Company:

They are a reputable housing group managing a portfolio of 120 properties across Cumbria. With their expansion into the Northeast and Northwest regions rolling out currently.

The Role:

The role has opened due to cover being needed over the next 3-6 months to help with day-to-day property inspections and assessments, identifying maintenance requirements and recommending necessary improvements across their entire property portfolio.

Due to the nature of the situation, there is an opportunity to go permanent.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a surveyor, preferably within the housing or property management sector.
• Strong IT Skills, mainly in MS Office/Excel.
• Familiarity with non-traditional properties and understanding of the specific needs of independent living tenants.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel across Cumbria and potentially to the Northeast and Northwest regions, Company Vehicle is provided.
