Job Title: Multi Trade Operative

Location:  Yeovil and surrounding areas.

Up to £20 per hour (CIS)

The Company:

Build Recruitment are working on behalf of a MOD property maintenance contractor to recruit a multi trade operative to work across a voids contract in the Yeovil area.

Ideal candidates will be skilled in general building or multi skilled in carpentry, plumbing, plastering and skimming, general brick and block repairs and UPVC repairs.

This is offered on a 12 week temporary contract initially, with a permanent position on offer for the right candidate (permanent salary circa £30 to £34K per annum).

We are looking for candidates that have use of their own van and tools for use during the temporary 12 week period. A company vehicle and fuel card can be provided once you join the company in a permanent position.

Day to Day:

• Carpentry, plumbing and general repairs and refurbishments in void MOD residential properties
• Working alone or as part of a small team
• Providing assistance with a range of  trades including carpentry, plumbing repairs, patch plastering, decorating, UPVC window and door repairs
• Providing a friendly and professional service with an eye for detail.

Requirements:

• Experience within a similar role
• Clean drivers licence and own vehicle
• DBS check and MOD security vetting will be required
