We’re working with a leading organisation within Social Housing that is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the addition of an Estimator based in Seaham, Durham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse pipeline of social housing and property services projects, supporting planned maintenance, refurbishment, retrofit, and improvement programmes for housing providers and local communities.

The Role

As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in securing new work and supporting successful project delivery by producing accurate, competitive cost plans across a range of social housing schemes.

Working closely with operational, commercial, and pre-construction teams, you’ll help identify efficiencies, manage risk, and contribute to high-quality tender submissions.

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical estimating experience with commercial awareness and a collaborative approach.

• Construction-related qualification (HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience in an Estimator role within social housing, planned works, refurbishment, or the wider built environment
• Strong understanding of construction methods, schedules of rates, and project costing
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced tendering environment and manage multiple bids simultaneously
