Role: HR advisor/ business partner
Location: Edmonton
Reports to: HR Director
Our client a leading UK-based company specialising in construction and property services, are seeking an HR Advisor to join the team in their head office in Edmonton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Advise managers on employee relations issues, handle grievances, and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Support the recruitment process and manage onboarding for new hires.
- Policy & Compliance: Assist in developing and updating HR policies, ensuring compliance with labour laws and industry regulations.
- Performance Management: Guide managers on performance appraisals and improvement plans.
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, support incident management, and promote a culture of safety.
- Compensation & Benefits: Assist with salary reviews and manage employee benefits programs.
- Learning & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs.
- HR Data & Reporting: Maintain HRIS, analyse HR data, and prepare reports for management.
- Special Projects: Lead or support HR initiatives and address ad-hoc issues.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in construction/property services or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HRIS experience.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
