Role: Senior Planner 
Team Leader 
Salary: £32k – £36k depending on experience 
Type: Permanent / full time office based

In this role as Senior Planner / Team Leader will be proactive and responsible for 2 Repairs Planners to ensure an “end to end” service approach is always adopted. The role will carry out day to day liaisons and supervision of the teams, ensuring all processes are followed correctly while ensuring contractual SLA’s and KPI’s are met and KPI penalties are prevented.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Moring the active jobs awaiting to be allocated to either – there should be no active jobs left to allocate by 5pm each evening
  • Manage a team of 2 repairs planners.
  • Ensure jobs are being allocated to engineers dairies effectively
  • To provide day to day support and highlight the current work focusses, whilst providing front line support.
  • Supporting to the team dealing with queries and escalated issues in accordance with established processes and a customer focused approach.
  • To champion and environment of continuous improvement through embedding our culture, modelling our values, measuring performance and coaching.
  • To deliver motivational performance activities to effectively manage the team to ensure they meet all assigned personal key performance indicators and personal development plans.
  • To ensure client driven KPI’s are met through effective jeopardy management.
  • To work in a collaborative and supportive way with internal colleagues, partners and other stakeholders as well as our client, to ensure the best possible experience is achieved for our families.
  • To carry out administration duties
  • Support an innovative approach that is focusses on development of operational process to enhance the service we offer, improve customer service and improving the lived experience
  • To undertake monthly 1-2-1’s/team meetings to update on performance and any training requirements.

What do we need from you?

To be a successful Scheduling Team leader, you will need to be reliable and ability to get on with others, with excellent verbal reasoning skills, great planning and organising skills – excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads, planning ahead to mitigate risks in demand or resource challenges, evidence of managing a team to achieve excellent customer service, very IT literate with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, be able to operate in a very adaptable environment, open to change while ensuring business priorities are not compromised and be performance driven, utilising metrics to drive individual and team achievement, taking ownership for the teams contribution to overall departmental performance.
